Why should we back?
Intro
SipaSeat approaches portable seating from an unusual direction. Instead of relying on folding metal frames, rigid legs, or conventional camping-chair structures, it uses a pressurized inflatable AirFrame structure to create its seat and backrest.
Designed for beaches, parks, campsites, outdoor events, paddleboards, boats, and similar environments, SipaSeat focuses on portability while still providing real back support.
The result is a product positioned somewhere between a camping chair, inflatable seat, and portable outdoor lounge.

Why should I back this project?
- The inflatable AirFrame eliminates conventional metal poles, legs, and hinges, allowing SipaSeat to provide structure while remaining easier to pack and transport.
- Setup is designed to be fast, with the campaign promoting approximately 30-second preparation using the included portable pump.
- The current prototype has been tested to support more than 160 kg, giving the lightweight inflatable structure meaningful load capacity.
- A breathable mesh surface allows water and air to pass through, making the seat particularly suitable for beaches, paddleboarding, boating, and other waterside activities.
- The included attachment strap and ground stake expand where the seat can be used, including paddleboards, kayaks, boats, soft ground, slopes, and windy environments.

What’s the potential drawbacks you should consider when you back it?
- Because the structure depends on air pressure, users need to inflate it before use and carry the small pump as part of the setup.
- An inflatable structure introduces puncture and air-loss considerations that do not apply to conventional rigid-frame outdoor chairs.
- The low, lounge-oriented seating position may appeal to beaches and campsites but may be less convenient for users who prefer the higher seating position of a traditional chair.
- Anchoring may be advisable on steep terrain, soft surfaces, or in windy conditions, adding an extra setup step in certain environments.

The reliability of the project
- SipaSeat comes from SipaBoards, an established Slovenian company already producing technically complex electric and self-inflating paddleboards.
- SipaBoards has previous Kickstarter experience dating back to its electric, self-inflating paddleboard campaign in 2015, which raised $344,638 from 284 backers.
- The company currently operates an established product business with dealers and rental partners across multiple international markets, providing a stronger operational foundation than a newly formed crowdfunding team.
- SipaSeat already has a working prototype with published inflation pressure, load testing, cleaning guidance, attachment methods, and instructions for different outdoor environments.

Conclusion
SipaSeat solves a familiar outdoor problem: comfortable seating is useful, but conventional chairs can be awkward to transport.
Its inflatable AirFrame allows the product to offer back support without relying on a bulky rigid frame, while the breathable materials and attachment options make it particularly interesting for beaches, watersports, camping, festivals, and relaxed outdoor travel.
Its main trade-off is the inflatable construction itself. Users need a pump, and long-term durability will depend on how well the materials handle repeated outdoor use.
SipaBoards’ existing hardware experience and previous crowdfunding history give the project additional credibility. For people who regularly trade seating comfort for portability, SipaSeat presents a thoughtful compromise between the two.
